These images come from a recent series of hundreds of photographs and paintings made this past year, when I spent my time walking through gardens as the sun was setting.

I currently live and work in Montpellier, the South of France. As I am engaged in the evolution of this work, life, our contemporary culture and natural world, I continue to refine my responses to questions of how and why I create a body of visual work to share within our contemporary context through the discipline of a daily art making practice. I have been fortunate to have spent years living and traveling around the world, teaching and studying languages and global art history as well as 2D and 3D art making techniques that continue to inform my approach to painting and object making.

My artwork has developed over the past 25 years, as a student at Parson's in Paris and New York at the Cooper Union, the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and then at l'Ecole d'Art d'Avignon France where I was awarded an MFA (DNSEP avec les félicitations du jury). Since 2014, my focus has been on working within the scope of community oriented initiatives to extend my support to local causes in both the South of France and New York. My work has been featured in a two page spread in the Montpellier Notre Ville magazine, as well as on a podcast I made for Radio FM Plus. It was an honor to be invited to speak on a panel discussion at the Musée Fabre in Montpellier France, on the role of women in culture.
